New To Curling? Learn To Curl Is The Program For You!
PLEASE READ: Is this program right for you? This program is for those that have NEVER stepped foot on curling ice and would like to learn the basic fundamentals of the game. The goal is once you've completed the six-week Learn To Curl program, you'll be able to transition into one of our existing curling leagues and become a SGCC rock star!
If you have basic knowledge of curling, have curled previously, or have participated in a bonspiel, Learn to Curl is not for you. Instead, join one of our Beginner Leagues by clicking here!
The Learn to Curl Program is a 6-week introduction to the game of curling as well as an introduction to the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club and all our Club has to offer.
Participants in this program will receive instruction over the course of the six-week program that will allow them to feel both safe and confident in the hopes that they will look to join other curling leagues at the Sarnia G&CC.
***Limited to the first 32 paid participants per session***
PLEASE NOTE: You must be at least 14 years of age to participate in this program, and anyone between the ages of 14 to 17 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Non-Club Members: $155+HST
SGCC Golf/Social Member: $125+HST

Friendly League Play For Beginner Curlers!

The SGCC Beginner Social Leagues are a 6-week program that will provide participants with a friendly league play experience and introduction to the game of curling. Participants in the Beginner Social Leagues will be provided with basic instruction and safety training to allow themselves to thoroughly enjoy this 6-week league. These leagues provide a perfect opportunity to join as a team or an individual wishing to be placed on a team. The SGCC Beginner Social Leagues encourage team entry submissions from local businesses/organizations or allow teams to gather friend groups who are looking for a great night of fun and socialization.

This league is a perfect opportunity for social curlers who are looking to join a team or enter as a complete team, play together, and enjoy a great night out! This league is for women of all skill levels, will consist of 6-ends, and allows participants to play in 6-week sessions. Players may choose to play in one, two, or three of the 6-week sessions that will run from the end of October into March.
Team Entry: $500+HST per session
Individual Entry: $125+HST per session

A Night Of Curling, Socializing, Fun & Music!

We offer our Social Open League on Friday evenings, and they are a perfect opportunity for social curlers who are looking to join a team or enter as a complete team, play together, and enjoy a great night out! These leagues are open to both men and women. The Friday night Social Open League is a 6-end league and allows participants to play in 6-week sessions.
After you're done curling, stay with your teammates for "Live Music Friday" in Down Bar!
Players may select to play in one, two, or three of the 6-week sessions that will run from November into March.
Cost:
