PLEASE READ: Is this program right for you? This program is for those that have NEVER stepped foot on curling ice and would like to learn the basic fundamentals of the game. The goal is to join an existing SGCC league following the six-week program and become a rock star!
If you have basic knowledge of curling, have curled previously, or have participated in a bonspiel, Learn to Curl is not for you. Instead, join one of our Beginner Leagues by clicking here!
The SGCC Learn to Curl Program is a 6-week introduction to the game of curling as well as an introduction to the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club and all our Club has to offer.
Participants in this program will receive instruction over the course of the six-week program that will allow them to feel both safe and confident in the hopes that they will look to join other curling leagues at the Sarnia G&CC.

SGCC Golf/Social Member: $125+HST

The SGCC Beginner Curling Leagues are a 6-week program that will provide participants with a friendly league play experience and introduction to the game of curling. Participants in the SGCC beginner leagues will be provided with basic instruction and safety training to allow themselves to thoroughly enjoy this 6-week league. The beginner curling leagues provide a perfect opportunity to join as a team or an individual wishing to be placed on a team. The SGCC beginner leagues encourage team entry submissions from local businesses/organizations or allow teams to gather friend groups who are looking for a great night of fun and socialization.

Two Nights to Choose From!
We offer Open Leagues on Tuesday and Friday evenings that are a perfect opportunity for social curlers who are looking to join a team or enter as a complete team, play together, and enjoy a great night out! These leagues are open to both men and women. Both the Tuesday and Friday night Open Leagues will be 6-end leagues and allow participants to play in 6-week sessions.
Players may select to play in one, two, or three of the 6-week sessions that will run from November into March.
Cost:
One Session ($135+HST+$5 prize fund)
Two Sessions ($270+HST+$10 prize fund)
***Please note, those who want to sign up for ALL THREE SESSIONS will be considered members of the Club, and will be extended member privileges. Please do not complete this form, but complete our Membership Application Form.***
